I've battled addiction to alcohol and marijuana and other 'party drugs' since first trying them aged 15. I found methamphetamine aged 30 and have battled this for the past 12 years. Everyone in my life has suffered because of it, not just myself, in particular my 3 children, the oldest (aged 18), has just begun coming back into my life, the other 2 still live with me.

It took everything from me, my marriage, my careers, my self respect, houses, friends, family, everything.

I found the rooms of NA mid 2020 and my life has changed! I'm 3 months 22 days completely clean and sober today. I have a sponsor and am working a 12 step program. I attend 4 meetings a week. I also saw a doctor, got onto a mental health care plan and began counselling.

I have a long way to go, but have come a long way.
