Every day, thousands of Australians struggling with addiction are waiting for a limited number of spots in drug and alcohol treatment.
Bill Woods speaks with Rethink Addiction spokesperson, Professor Dan Lubman, who like many is frustrated that finding treatment for addiction could be likened a “lottery”.
“We have desperate individuals and families really looking out for support for somebody who has a genuine health condition,” says Professor Lubman.
