“Realdrugtalk was born out of my lived experience with addiction and the hurtful stigma around living with dependency problems.

Fear and shame kept me from speaking out about my addiction and making the critical first step to seek support.

Our goal is to change the perceptions around addiction so that the stigma can be eliminated allowing people to gain hope and seek help without fear of judgement and consequence.

That is why we have joined the campaign to Rethink Addiction.”
