First Step

"First Step is a not-for-profit addiction, mental health and legal services hub in St Kilda, Melbourne. 

First Step clients have access to GPs, addiction medicine specialists, addiction psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health nurses, care coordinators, psychosocial workers, drug and alcohol counsellors and an inbuilt community legal centre. 

At First Step we believe that everybody deserves every chance to turn their lives around that survivors of childhood trauma should get access to all the support they want and need from one team in one place, and for free.

That is why we have joined the campaign to Rethink Addiction."
